Grand Canyon

During sad days like these I like to remind myself times that are worth living for. For example, those when your biggest trouble is loll about swimming pool in Las Vegas and book trip to Grand Canyon. The cheapest way how to get to South Rim (Grand Canyon’s most famous part) was with http://www.grandcanyontours.com/ and I couldn't complain to anything. In the course of few hours they are able to manage everything and pick up you in the back entrance of Stratosphere. We (me and a group of single people from all around the world) had a lunch and during our chat we found out we are all on the “typical west coast thing”. We were passing through various weather areas, from those hottest to rainy Grand Canyon. We went for a while on the famous Route 66 which ends in Santa Monica. Right after arrival to Grand Canyon National Park we saw elks. When you see Grand Canyon for the first time, you feel like a small ant and right away you get a goose bumps because of people who are not scared to do anything just to take a good picture. It’s an awesome view that everyone should see if he/she has a possibility do to it. I like cities but nature can take your breath away. We should respect it more.

Hello to everyone! I’m sorry for my little pause, I’ve been sort of trapped not only by my parents but also by my school duties. So let’s just get back to the summer LA for a while... or Las Vegas? Why I chose it although my night social life could compete with retired people? Actually, there were more reasons: 1) Accessible distance to Grand Canyon. 2) Have you ever noticed those prices on booking? It would be a sin not take advantage of the distance from LA, which is only 5 hours by bus. 3) The lights and the kitsch of all kinds. Boys had warned me off the bus ride but I found it quite OK. Megabus provides you with wifi and sockets so everyone entertain himself. Maybe they will make a stop for you in Barstow so that the desert air could slap you in the face as well. After arrival be careful of cab-drivers because they will probably try to take you to the Strip stuck in the endless traffic jam (but you can take other way). I was astonished by Stratosphere hotel because it has rooftop pool and bar in its tower. Besides, one night in it is cheaper than in Prague. When you will go to discover the night shows of every famous hotel, don’t let yourself be fooled by the map views. It’s not that near as it seems so you might walk more than 10 kilometers that night. But it’s so damn worth it! ¡Hola a tod@s! ¿o a Las Vegas?

AND!!! ... the only crazy thing I did in Vegas:
