Takže :) začínám popisovat svůj třetí den v LA o pár měsíců
později z Lisabonu (a o tom třeba jindy). Můj plán jet na dva týdny se odvíjel
od počtu dnů, které jsem hodlala strávit v každém městě. Pro LA bylo 5 dnů,
abych měla přibližně na jednu čtvrť jeden den (samozřejmě, bez auta). Alex vše
vyřešil a vážně mi moc pomohl. Za 1 den jsme se stihli vydat na Griffith
observatory, projít kousek "very important houses" v Beverly Hills
(btw vážne mají za potřebí kopírovat domů gaudího?), stavit se na rodeo drive,
dojet do Downtown a Fashion district (pokud se vám zdá, že to má newyorský
vibe, nebudete na omylu, spousta filmů se prý točí právě tam a pak se vydávají
za NY).. Dále jsme stihli Chinese Theather a Walk of Fame, Alex mi zahrál ve
slavném Hollywood Guitar Center na kytaru a vrátili jsme se zpět k němu, do
Santa Monicy. Tu jsme prošli i s jejím bulvárem a užili si jejich krásných
nočních světel. Bylo neuvěřitelné vše projít a stihnout si to užít, i se
zasmát. Alex mi z auta ukazoval i "funky parts of town", kde není
radno vystupovat a já nemohla uvěřit tomu, že jsem vážně tam. A že se dá do LA
tak snadno zamilovat.
So few months after Im starting to describe my third day in LA
from Lisbon (I might tell you about it later :) ). I decided to create a plan
according to the number of days I will spend in each city. For LA it was 5
days, just enough to get around slowly without car (its not impossible, very
slow tho). Alex helped me to solve all my problems. In one day we made it to
Griffith observatory, a little bit of ,,very important houses“ in Beverly Hills
(btw do these people really need to copy the Gaudi style?), do a little
windowshopping in Rodeo Drive (careful with the pronunciation, haha), walk
through Downtown and Fashion District (if it feels kinda NY vibes-like, you’re not
mistaking, a lot of movies are made in these streets and then are passed out as
New York)... The next stop, of course, was Chinese Theather and The Walk of
Fame, Alex played in famous Hollywood Guitar Center on guitar for me and then
we went back to his place, to Santa Monica. We went through Santa Monica Pier
and Boulevard and enjoyed its beautiful night lights. Walking through all these
places was incredible as much as enjoy it and laugh so much all at once. Alex
showed me from car also the „funky parts of town“ where there it isn’t advisible
to got out of the car and I couldn’t believe that I was really there. And that
it’s so easy to fell in Love with LA.
Ahora, después de unos pocos meses en Lisboa estoy al punto de
describir mi tercer día en LA (puede que de esto os lo diga más tarde :).
Decidí a crear un plan de acuerdo con el número de días que iba a pasar en cada
una de las ciudades. Para poder visitar los barrios de LA sin coche, elegí 5
días. Alex me ayudó mucho y resolvó todas mis dudas. En un día nos fuimos al
Observatorio Griffith, pasamos por algunas de las casas "muy importantes" en Beverly Hills
(btw realmente necesitan imitar a Gaudí?), hacer un poco de windowshopping en
Rodeo Drive, pasar por Downtown y
Fashion District (si tenéis allí una sensación de NY, no estáis equivocando
porque allí se rodea muchas películas que se hacen pasar por NY). La próxima
parada era, por supuesto, Chinese Theather y The Walk of Fame, Alex tocó la
guitarra para mí en un centro muy famoso, Hollywood Guittar Center y nos fuimos
a su casa en Santa Monica. Después disfrutamos Santa Monica Pier y Boulevard y
sus preciosas luces nocturnas. Todo esto era increíble y además nos reímos
tanto como lo disfrutamos. Alex me enseňó los barrios un poco peligrosos del
coche y dijo que allí no se recomienda bajar. Yo no pude creer que estaba
realmente allí. Y que es tan fácil enamorarse de LA.
